lost outlook email files during 08SE to XP Pro upgrade29 Jul 2003 19:41 GMT1
Anyone out there can tell me what I can do, if anything,
about the fact that the XP Pro upgrade from 98SE wiped
out all my outlook express emails (inbox, sent, etc)???
It didnt touch my favorites, cookies, my documents, etc..

I was installing XP on my computer when the installation
process stop and does nothing over 20 minutes or more. I
try rebooting my computer so the setup start where it left
off but it still wont fix the problem... Does anyone know

I'm doing a fresh install of WinXP Pro.  I format the
drive using NTFS(Quick Format). I've also tried the full
format.  
As the setup files are being copied, i get this error

I just installed the update (?) and NOW MY PC IS SLOWER  
than my old 286.

Can anyone tell me how to get the original Windows XP
desktop theme/appearance back onto my computer (blue
taskbar).  I somehow managed to change the Taskbar and
Window appearance to a different colour and now cannot

Ran into an error after installing Adobe Acrobat 5.05.  
Adobe'd site has a procedure for fixing the issue, but
part of said procedure is to install the above file from
the Windows XP CD.  How do I install just the one dll?

I am totally fed up with Me - have an XP Professional disc
obtained at a show - can I just inititate an install of XP
or do I need to back up all current data?  i.e. will this

I have a laptop running WinME (Pent3, 850MHZ, 128RAM).

I am trying to install WindowsXP on a ABIT NF7-S motherboard based PC, with 2
harddrives attached to the Silicon Image RAID chip as the boot device.
These 2 harddrives on the RAID chip are the only harddrives in the system, and
they are configured as RAID-1 (mirrored).

I would like to know how to change my pass word on
outlook express for my e mail. I did it so long ago it is
like a brain drain, as I have forgotten. Could use a
refresher.
