The Windows Setup requires a previous versions Windows CD to continue setup, which I do not have. Why can't I install Windows without that? I did buy the full product not an upgrade version so I do not understand at all.

I have been trying to reinstall Xp since deleting Internet Explorer. Setup began then rebooted and hung at the logo screen. I posted earlier but have made some advancements. Somehow I was able to get my machine to restart setup.
