Clean install on 2nd HD, files lost?31 Aug 2003 06:33 GMT2
I tried repairing my XP Home and setup restarted several
times. Finally installed it on the 2nd HD because of
course I didn't have a current backup of all my important
files and there was a warning that installing it on the

I could not install from the xp cd, with SP1.  It gave me
a blue screen with a fatal error. So I downloaded the xp
setup floppy disks for xp with SP1 and tried that. After
installing the floppys, during installation of the cd the

Microsofts website.  Upon installing the startup disks,
while loading disk #5, the error:  ntfs.sys (4103) error

I called my computer mfg. and i asked them how to wipe
