i am installing windows xp home through the boot disks. when i get to disk 3 the following error occurs. " The entry "pciide.sys" in the [SourceDisksFiles] section of the INF file is corrupted or missing.

Upgraded from Win98 to XP. Tried to reload Systemworks 2002 which worked flawlessly on 98. LiveUpdate, Cleansweep, and Antivirus will not load after several tries. Anyone with similar experience and help?

What's the differences between DOS boot disk without CD ROM Drivers, and Win98 boot disk with CD ROM Support? Both floopy disks have fdisk program. Win98 boot disk doesn't have format program but DOS boot disk has the format program.

This probably can't be done, but I thought I'd ask: I have successfully set up a dual boot Win 98SE/XP system using Partition Magic and Boot Magic. Neither OS can see the other, but the applications and data partitions can be seen by both.
