I had a cpu burn out and corrupted windows.  Now I have a
BSOD but the screen does't appear long enough for me to

When I did a WIN XP Pro install after installing a new hard
drive (only hard drive on system) the system called it
drive (f:) I can not seem to make it drive c: even though
there is no drive c: on system

Hi, I just finished putting together a computer using the socket A
motherboard for AMD K7 type processors. Everything is working, except the
onboard audio. There is  a setting in the BIOS called the 'Onboard AC'97
Sound' which is enabled, but I still can't get any sound.

a slave position so that we can run a data recovery
program from a new hard drive.
However, XP Home Ed. insists on running CHKDSK on that
