Startup Sound for XP04 Aug 2003 13:01 GMT1
The startup sound for XP doesn't work - no sound at all.  
Otherwise all other programs' sound features are
working.  Any ideas on how to fix it.

I recently appied the Windows Messenger fix that keeps windows messenger 4.7
from running.  (grpedit.msc)  Now for some reasome Outlook Express takes
forever to load. ??  Any ideas how to speed it up again?

I have a 120 GB HD that I partitioned (but not formatted)
with a Win ME startup disk. The HD is going into a new
computer running on XP Pro. At the beginning of XP
install, however, I am not given the choice of formatting

I just installed a secondary drive on my MICRON PC (PIII
800, 384MB RAM). I have been trying a clean install of XP
PRO on the secondary drive (slave), keeping ME installed,
but after being prompted during the first reboot of the

I have two hard drives(IDE). On the master I am running
98. The slave has been formated into two partitions: ntfs
and fat32. I would, of course, like to install xp on the

I restore my computer to a new date.
After he finished the restore and reboot my computer, i
recive a messege "AUTOCHK could not found" and after that  
the computer reboot again and again with the same messege
