I am trying to upgrade to XP Pro on to my Toshiba 1905-
S277. It has (had?) XP home on it now. But I have been

want to reinstall xp (without having to reformat my hard
drive). when i try to reinstall (boot from CD) i get the
message "INF file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing,

I bought the OEM version as I have more than one
computer.  On my main machine I have the upgrade version
of XP.  On this machine I have the OEM version.  I get
some errors locating some dll files while installing from

CeQuadrat "Just Burn" program that came with the computer
(Compaq Presario 7895) will not recognize the CD burner.
Any ideas? The CD player plays fine, but it won't
