I have had problems with my computer as I am running a
SATA drive as my only drive.  I tried to load XP, and have
had many problems. I treied to go in safe mode, but a blue
scrren came up saying there is a problem with computer and

i originally set the C: drive for 2GB Fat32 ( the dummy
that i am ) thinking that it would be large enough for
WindowsXP, and drive f: for the rest ( 58 GB ) and i
constantly get drive c: is critically low errors.

I'm using XP-home on a Sony VAIO laptop.  My hard drive is
partitioned to a C: drive using the FAT 32 file system,
and a D: drive using NTFS.  The C drive is full, but I
can't move any of my files to the (nearly empty) D drive.

When my PC starts I see a blue error screen but it pops up

I am able to install and dual boot with Win 98 and Win XP,
but would like to have another Win 98 OS on a seperate
drive to boot and use for testing and incompatible
programs.  Is this possible?  Any help would be greatly

standby usually works ok for short periods. but it i leave the system on
standby for 30 minutes or longer it often won't respond. i have to reboot.
any ideas what may be causing this, or how to track down the cause?

I booted to the XP Pro cd, after the initial installation
was complete the system needed to reboot.
After the reboot instead of booting off the HD, it started

I have several fully-licensed, unused packages of the
original release of WinXPpro and want to install them on
some brand new computers. My experience in installing XP
from this vintage release has been unpleasant at best.
