I'm trying to make a complete XP install CD, with automatic apply of SP1 and hotfixes. Most of it is ok now, but some MS updates like ex. MDAC 2.8, Microsoft .NET Framework dotnetfx.exe.

Help... I've successfully installed a larger second hard drive but it has been given the designation of "E" while my CDROM remained as "D". Is there a painless way or re- numbering them so my new hard drive is "D"?

I'm running Windows XP Home eddition and resantly I get an error message when I reboot my computer. The error message says "Invalid Boot.ini file. Booting from C:\windows\". The computer boot's up as it should after the error

I install all my Computers from an distribution point. I copied the source files to this directory and I embedded the SP1 to this directory. I want to do the same with the hotfixes as discribed in http://www.microsoft.com/windowsXP/pro/downloads/servicepacks/sp1/hfdeploy.asp
