I'm trying to make a complete XP install CD, with
automatic apply of SP1 and hotfixes.
Most of it is ok now, but some MS updates like ex. MDAC
2.8, Microsoft .NET Framework dotnetfx.exe.

Help... I've successfully installed a larger second hard
drive but it has been given the designation of "E" while
my CDROM remained as "D".  Is there a painless way or re-
numbering them so my new hard drive is "D"?

I am imaging 350+ Optiplex GX260s using sysprep w/ mini-
setup and Ghost to push the image. The imaging works fine
until the portion of Sysprep's mini-setup where it
attempts to join the domain. At that point it cannot

After many attempts through other means to format my hard
drive with various error messages (Format cannot run b/c
this volume is in use by another process, etc.) I used
the reinstallation CD and the directions given in

  Whenever I start up my system I get:
Invalid BOOT.INI file

files to this directory and I embedded the SP1 to this directory.
I want to do the same with the hotfixes as discribed in
