My product Key Number no longer works, i want to reformat
but it says invalid, how is this possible??

I have partitioned and formatted hd for fresh install and
when I attempt to run R:/>setup it says "this program
cannot be run in dos mode".  I have tried running through
the partitioning and formatting process again and again

I'm working on an XP machine at work and have found the
UNIX Services under PROGRAMS.  I got the help desk to
install them and I'm very happy with the operation so far.
What I need to know is:  Does the home version of XP come

I'm trying to fix a friends computer and she is getting a
serious error on installation.  I am able to do fdisk,
and format, but when XP tries to load the setup files it
gets half way through it and crashes.  I looked through

Can I not choose where to install xp on an upgrade? Or is
that only an option if i choose an empty partition and
some sort of boot manager?

We've followed the directions in the KB for the unattended
install of XP for Tablet PCs, but we cannot get the
machine to activate the Tablet components.  Anyone have
this problem too, or any ideas on how to get around it?

get a message "The file sbp2post.sys is corrupted." then
the upgrade aborts. The sbp2post.sys file did not exist on
this computer when I first encountered this message.
