i reinstalled my windows and lost the code to be able to
access word and other works because if someone could help

i am installing full version windows xp and did the files
and settings transfer both ways.  however, none of the
windows programs, office, frontpage,etc transfer and
require a complete new install with activation.

My motherboard died so I upgraded my system with a new motherboard. I
had been using Win2000 pro with a win98  dual boot (this is not a full
dual boot because I only had the MSDOS part of win98 setup) before the
crash. I bought XP upgrade because I wanted to upgrade the install on

Doing a fresh install of Win XP Prof.  I get as far as the
screen where it tells me 39 mins left to install and the
various features of XP scroll.  After some time I get a

My father-in-law recently obtained the W32.Swen.A@mm
virus that brought his Windows XP Home PC to its knees.

Has anyone had any luck with creating custom versions of Windows PE.  I am
trying to make this work with loading the correct drivers for my NIC cards.
I have been following the directions in the help file. Now when I burn the
custom CD and try to boot up from it PE starts to boot ...

easily when I set automatic IP and default gateway.
