critical updates (hopefully mostly in cumulative form) and write them to a

system now gives an error message when trying to run the
windows updater that the privelages won't allow the
activex controls to run.  I am running as the

I only have slow (dialup) net access at Home but have
fast (broadband cable)access at work ,
So I would prefer to download the XP Updates at work (to
Laptop) and then transfer these updates  to my home PC
