I installed Win XP over Win 2000 choosing during the installation procedure the option
preserve existing file system.
Now I can see all the folder structure as before under Win 2000, but the files are gone.
Can they be recovered?

Can anyone tell me how to register Windows XP without
being connected to the internet?  I have a dozen machines
that have XP preinstalled by Dell but Windows still asks
me if I want to register with Microsoft.  I'm not sure how

I was installing some windows automatic updates, and had
to leave in a hurry, so i quit the installation from the
task manager.  Now when i try to boot up my computer, it

OK, I have had a computer now for a little over a year now
and recently I have been having troubles with it.  I tried
