i currently have windows xp home edition on my computer.
I want to reinstall windows on my computer but all i can
do is the upgrade which only adds a new user. i want to
delete all info on my computer as i have currupt files

I purchased a new hard drive for my computer...I am
running XP Home Edition on my old drive.  This is an
upgrade version that I installed upgrading from 98SE.  
Question is, do I need to install 98 again and then do

How do I do this?  When I close the lid, the computer

Ok, I have been reading help files and articles and the
knowledge base for anything that might be able to help

I added a new hard drive. I used Disk managmenet in WIN XP PRO to
partition the new drive. Then I formated the partitions, one on 20GB
and one one almost 100GB. Then I copied what I needed from my old hard
drive over to the new one. Then I sold my old one. Then I bootet from

I am having the same problem, I feel like I have a trojan
loaded somewhere on my xp machine. I want to recover back
about a month and it will not do it.  What can I do?  I
