Instead of using the start menu, I have always used my
desktop to run applications using shortcuts to websites,

months ago, I noticed the icons to my floppy and cd drive

I had a 256 MB usb key. When I tried ti install Xp on, the
setup told me it needed at least 990MB.
Now I have a 1GB usb key: the setup tells me it needs at
least 1230 !!!!

When upgrading WIN ME to WIN XP I am getting an error
reading..."The language of this installation of windows
differs from the one you are installing, the option to
upgrade is not available"

I changed from a AMD Ahtlon 200 FSB motherboard to a AMD
XP Athlong 333 FSB processor and motherboard.  I thought
I could jusr reinstall windows to correct the hardware
changes but it will only let me re-install it from new.

I get this message when I try to run windows update.
