Can I successfully install a new oem xp disk with coa
over a pirarated xp pro disk?

i cant boot up winxp unplugged floppy now im in recovery
console  asking which win installation would i like to
log into? im on my friends computer

I set up a dual boot system (Win 2K on one hard drive and
Win XP Pro on another). After the installation, I decided
that I really need XP Pro on a separate computer. (I have
a video editing program that will only run on Win XP Pro).

I was wondering what this file does.  It's in the
Windows\system32\drivers folder.  Each time I turn on my
computer, it logs an error in the event viewer making
reference to this file.

I am attempting to upgrade from XP Home to XP Pro, the
set up stalled and created a separate boot command, that
I now need to choose between XP Home and XP Pro, when I

sfc /scannow wants files from the sp1a CD.  I downloaded
sp1a so I do not have a cd.  How do I move the download
to a CD, or make the sp1a files available to sfc.
