All,
I have created an XP pro image for deployment, i used the -activated
and -reseal parameteres however when i loaded 1 of the images on
another computer it it asking for the activation of XP during the

I've upgraded from XP Home to XP Pro.  Now whenever I go
out to "Command Prompt" and return my computer slows down
and the Task Manager shows a solid 100% memory usage

I am spending many hours trying to install the home XP
upgrade on a new hard drive.  I use the maxtor CD to boot
up and partition and format the new hard drive (NTFS).

Does anybody know how to upgrade to XP Pro from XP Home?
Does it require a complete format/reload or can you run a
setup program that will do the upgrade like it does when
you go to Pro from say, Windows 2k? any ideas or coments

Hi there. Can anyone please help me. I had a major prob

be used- "D\Backup.bkf"-"Please insure it is a valid

I got a problem using WINDOWS EXPLORER.  When I open it
everything appears normal.  It opens looking at MY
DOCUMENTS.  I can look at the folders and files under

I believe that the sorting method for numbered filenames
is different in XP than it was in 95 and 98.
How can I get it to sort like it used to be?

I'd been running two hard drives on my Win 2K machine for
months without a hitch.  Both were formatted as NTFS,
single partition each.  Nothing fancy.
