I am trying to install a new program (MatLab) on winXp,
but when i run the setup program, I get the error that
there is not enough free space on c: to run setup.  it
says at least 7mb is required, but I have over seven GB

perhaps a silly question
starting with a legitimate copy of XP Pro SR-1 on CD-ROM
it's a "Corporate Licence" - so no problems with
the "Microsoft Activation" process,

Sometimes my screensaver will not start up. If nothing is
running it won't sometimes. But if any program is running
it will work perfect every time..
PLEASE HELP ME

i have a dfi nb76-ec motherboard with intel chipset i845g
and even with everything in the bios as far as hardware
turned off except foir the onboard sound.(noi bios option
to disable it)the furthest the install makes it is

Just formatted the hard drive and did a clean install of
Windows XP Pro(thanks Michealstevens.com for the info on
this) and now cannot download updates - a few minutes into
downloading WindowsXP I get a box that pops up and says

How can i get my unread emails to display on the log on
screen.

Is there any way I can reformat my boot drive?

I installed a trial ver of xp pro over xp home.  When i
started the computrt today ,it said it will shut down in
1 hr, How do i revert to xp home ed? Any ideas? thanks in

How can I boot Win XP in MS-DOS mode?

i'm upgrading to XP from win 98.  The computer hangs up
with approx. 24 min left.  It goes through the "Collecting
Info" "Dynamic Update" Preparing Installation" just fine
and starts the "Installing Windows dialog but then hangs

My friend has just bought a PC with a dodgy copy of XP
Professional and wishes to replace it with a legal XP
Home Edition.  Is this possible, and if so, what is the
best procedure?

I am building new system.  Want to move existing Hard
Drive to new system.  Cannot get XP Pro to boot in new
system.  Forced new system to acknowledge drive but get
Problem Starting Windows, try start Windows normally,

problem.... old office xp expired and when trying to load
new program still getting old this program has expired
message. how do i solve this problem..
