I currently have XP home on my PC and I wish to re-format the HD and
re-install it.  Will this create a problem with regards to Product
Activation or will it activate OK as its being installed on the same
computer?

I recently reinstall Windows, and went on the internet
after many months.  After a few minutes, a pop-up appeared,
and told me my computer will restart in 1 minute.  The
message was regarding NT and activation. This occurs

I upgraded from 98 to XP.  I like XP, but it causes some
of my programs not to work (and I've checked for new
versions of these programs, and they don't seem to be
available, and I can't afford to buy new software).

I'm wanting to deploy WinXP in our environment much the
same way I did with W2K.  One of the things I did was
create some changes in the registry using REGEDT32 in the
USERS section to create some defaults, so that when I

I want to create an image that will work on both a Dell GX1 and a Dell
GX260. I created the image off the GX1. I managed to get it to at
least boot on the GX260 using the SysprepMassStorage tweaks.
However the GX260 requires Dell drivers for it's chipset, nic, video,

I'm at my wits end. Had no problems with Win2000 and
sysprep. But my WinXP sysprep refuses to skip the EULA,
the product key, and several other questions.

Hi kind of have the same problem as described below from
someonelse post. XP freezes directly after the Setup blue
screen. It doesn't even get to load drivers ! I found
that my disk drive A: keeps the light of the led open at
