I upgraded my MoBo (and almost everything else). I tried to "repair" my WinXP Pro install and it wouldn't boot from HDD. BIOS says "press any key to boot from CD". If I don't it does nothing.

when I try to install updates it fails and says the update is not signed by microsoft. I re-registered all the digital signing dll's as per a kb article and now it starts to install and takes for ever then says update

i bought a 120 gb sata hdd to replace my 30 gb 5400 rpm system drager. Well windows 98 doesn't recognize drives over 51 gb I think. So I can't upgrade. Any sugestions from anyone?

Recently I upgraded a Windows 98 machine to Windows xp Pro. I used the Wizard to transfer all Files and Settings. In the past no one complained or reported any problem, Files and Settings have transfered accordingly without a glich.
