we have gone though setting and security with several
people they say everything is correct. but constantly we
will get 'page not displayed', or cannot use because of the
settings, but we are told they are correct. help. nancy

I keep getting error code 4 when trying to install
Windows XP Pro. I did a fresh install from a clean HD. It
says could not load \i386\ntkrnlmp.exe error code 4 setup
cannot continue. I'm running a AMD Duron 800mhz with

I intstalled xp on a clean hard drive...after a couple of
reboots, I got an error mssge saying a system file was
corrupt...so i just installed xp again, into the same
directory...everything works, except:

My install disk was damaged.  I need to reload XP.  I
have a copy from a friend but it will only work with
their product key.  What will happen if I install and try
to activate with their key?
