I recently got WinXP Pro to install on my laptop.  My
laptop had Win2000 Pro.  I installed XP and it then had
dual boot between XP pro and 2000 pro.  Well I then went
in to Win2000 pro and did and XP upgrade this time.

Is it possible to remove the 'Standby' option, leaving just 'Restart' and

I have a Dell Latitude C600 with a 10Gb hard drive which
is full. I have bought a removable 20Gb hard drive which
will fit in the bay that now has the CD drive. The current
operating system on the 10Gb drive is Windows 2000

I have an aptiva 2270 that is running windows 98se just
fine. I wanted to install xp home. I formatted the drive
and put the cd in the rom and rebooted. It came up with
the blue screen and had the "press f6 to install 3rd party
