actually i'm doing remote deployment of the operating systems. and i
have to create the images.  i don't want to use RIS or any of the

Hello, I recently completely replaced my hard drive and did a clean
install of Windows XP on it.  However, after XP finished installing,
my Zip drive is now mapped as C, and my hard drive is mapped as E.  Is
there any way to drive the drive naming?  Thank you!

I am attempting to upgrade from ME to XP Professional.  
During the install I received an error message advising
that I had a missing or corrupt file "<windows

Anyone hgave the phone number to activate my copy of
Windows XP?  The only instructions I can find are to use
the activation program on my computer - but before I can
get any useful information, the machine freezes up.

I have an unauthorized copy of XP Professional on a newly built PC, and would like to reinstall a legitimate copy...would a reinstall of XP Pro require me to reformat the partition?  Or, can I just reinstall the licensed copy?
