Yes, it is true.  I still have a Windows 95 OS on one of
my computers.  I have another computer with Windows XP.  
I have been thinking about upgrading to Windows XP, but I
fear that I will lose all of my data.  Also, a tab on the

I bought a built-from-scratch computer and opted to
install XP Home myself and save the install fee.  When I
loaded XP Home to a brand-spanking new hard drive, XP gave
it a drive assignment of H:.  One of the USB ports on the

I had Windows 2000 Pro running with a single partition, 200GB hard drive.
I recently upgraded to Windows XP and now my 200GB drive only shows 186 GB.
What's going on here?  My BIOS shows it at 200 GB.  Plus Windows Drive
manager doesn't show any unpartitioned space available.

I have done a clean install on a new hard drive.  The
hard drive crashed from bad blocks on the drive.  I lost
some  system information needed to boot the system.  I
could in no way recover to Windows from the crash.  I

Using XP Pro, latest IE 6.0...
I had to reinstall XP Pro after a disk crash, and to my surprise all my
links (i.e. addresses of web sites I had added to Favorites, Links) in IE
were gone.
