I have to install Win XP on a laptop without a CD-ROM
drive. How can I install it? Something to do with

well i think this is a microsoft problem but...
any time i try to install/uninstall a program it starts
installshield which works fine then i get an error
message before it finishs:

My computer died. It had an OEM version of XP on it and I

the old hard drive from my dead computer in the new
computer as a slave drive. I am going to remove XP from

XP takes a long time to load!!!
It appears that it is taking a long time to load all of
the icons in the system tray.   Is there anyway to
optimize XP startup - possibly by disabling Systray.exe?
