receive the following message when trying to setup XP-Pro
on a new system with a WD360gd 36Gig SATA HD,on an Intel
D865GBFL motherboard. win2000 works ok on the same box.

I try many thing, but let me explain the problem. I want
to include network driver on the windows xp CD and want

Got a 200 gig Maxtor drive in a Firewire Enclosure. In the past I have
purchased 200-250 gig usb external drives that showed all 200-250 gigs
when plugged into Windows 2000 without any drivers. The drives were
formated Fat32, converted them to NTFS, no problem.

I am upgrading from Win98 SE to XP Pro doing a full
installation.  The computer upgrades fine until about 13
minutes remaining and then its hangs for an eternity (once
for an entire night)--while going through the process

We recently upgraded one of our WinNT 4.0 Workstation

on NT clients.  During the deployment process there will

When I try to install SP1a I get the message "Setup could

I just finished installing a new HD and installed XP on it. I used to have 2
drives in the system, one with 2000 and one with 98.
When I run explorer, I can see all the files on the 2000 drive, but the 98
drive says drive must be formatted. In disk manager, it also reports the

I recently had to completely re-install XP.  After doing
so, I do not have the ability to place the system in
standby mode anymore.  How can I turn this feature on?
