I have a Sony VIAO laptop and have been running Windows XP
for a while on it. Last night, I attempted a large
download, and put the computer into standby mode. This
morning, I have tried, by every means necessary, to boot up

I've had windows isntalling for several hours now. The
starting estimated time to completion is 39 minutes. The
estimated minutes slowly decrease and installion slowly
progresses. It's a new computer with new hard drive.
