first on my E: partition and then another one on my C:

I bought a computer some time ago with a windows xp disk.

My edition of XP Home always opens up with two popups.  One is entitled "Log On To Windows" and I can see Administrator listed as the login name.  Above that is an error message stating, "Unable to log you on because of an account restriction"

Lost my harddrive. When trying to install XP, I get the

Back in June of 2003, I had to rebuild my PC because I replaced my hard
drive with a larger size model. Of course, because I changed the hardware, I
had to call MS to 'activate' it. They gave me a LOOOONG number which I put
in and XP (Pro) accepted it fine.

Trying to Install Windows XP, upgrading from Win98SE.
Tried Compatability check first, got "Contact Technical
Support, error 5A8FF58h". Then started Setup, got
error "Can't Copy F:\i386\MFC42.DLL to C:\Windows....."
