Okay, a few days ago I removed windows 98 from my system and put XP on. Now, everytime the computer is loaded it tells me so many days left for registration although when I click to register it says it is registered! What do I do?

Well today I finally got up the nerve and time to Upgrade
my system.  Removed all that the Compatability utility
complained about.  And once the "Preparing Installation"
step finished, my system rebooted and the Installation

I just did a sfc/scannow to check my system integrity after
uninstalling a program.  In my event viewer, I noticed the following:
The System Restore filter encountered the unexpected error '0xC0000056'
while processing the file 'oembios.bin.new' on the volume 'HarddiskVolume1'.
