Okay, a few days ago I removed windows 98 from my system and put XP on. Now, everytime the computer is loaded it tells me so many days left for registration although when I click to register it says it is registered! What do I do?

I just did a sfc/scannow to check my system integrity after uninstalling a program. In my event viewer, I noticed the following: The System Restore filter encountered the unexpected error '0xC0000056' while processing the file 'oembios.bin.new' on the volume 'HarddiskVolume1'.
