How do I re-install MSI on XP?
My XP MSI files were damaged, so I uninstalled them.  When I went to
download new MSI files I could only find versions for 2000/NT and Windows
9X.  Now, I can't install ANYTING on this XP system.

My old machine has two 8Gb drives without partitions.

I am trying to install windows XP on a brand new system I
built myself.  After setup detects my hardware it freezes
and then turns into a blue screen that says

I have just finished a reinstallation of Windows XP Home
on a Gateway computer. The internet connection window
(mine is SBC/Yahoo) pops up continually, without being
requested.  I also receive an error message: "rasauto.exe

When I boot up my computer the System32 folder opens on
my desktop after everything else is loaded like it should
be.  I have to close this folder everytime I start my
computer.  How do I get this to stop?

I have an 8gb hard drive (2nd computer) and i installed
xp.. after the install it said i had 600mb free and 7gb
used??? But all the files in the hd only add up to
600mb's? Ive installed nothing else
