I have only a USB external CD-ROM drive (my internal died and can't be
fixed because of problem with motherboard attachment).  How can I
reinstall XP?  Is there a way to add a line to the boot discs along with

just wondering which you'd choose and why.  1000+ machines, lots of
different hardware, 90% of it has built in XP driver support (the ones that
don't are NIC and graphics chipsets).  wiping out the current OS and
starting from scratch with a set of specific applications.

I have read on the MS multiboot pages that it says you
cannot do a Dual boot on 1 dynamic disk unless you

Here is the scenario.  I've got a pc in which the bios doesn't seem to recognize the cdrom as a cdrom.  Hence.. I can't boot from a cd.  I know in windows 2000 you could create 4 boot disks from makeboot.exe and start the OS install that way.  Does any such beast exist for XP?

to start fresh and delete my *only* partitition (C:).  I
cannot delete it, nor can I split it using
PartititionMagic 8.0.
