After upgrading my XP HOme edition (w/sp2 -installed as dynamic updates) to
XP Profession( bundled SP2) the windows doesn't boot at all..
Upon booting it shows up the Windows Starting Options screen...but none of
the options work (including safe mode ).

Can anyone tell me if there is such a thing as a BOOT LOG to keep track of
when the system is re-booted. I am asking this because it seems that every
once in a while Windows XP decides to re-boot itself, unsolicited......
