Updated my PC to reboot in safe mode to remove some
adware. Subsequent log on would only load my personal
settings and not allow me into XP. I am trying to reboot
from the XP CD but receive the message "Windows XP cannot

I have a late model Dell PC with a P3 and 512 of RAM and
the 98SE OS. It seems as thought it is a good candidate
for the udgrade but I have heard conflicting reports when
pricing the software.  My employer ordered the PC for me

i have installed SP2 on my windows xp and since then I
have not been able to get into the windows update.  now i
am trying to uninstall and it will not let me do that
either.  do you have a solution?

Having formatted my hard drive, and proceeded to install
XP Home edition, every thing went fine until the
installation stalled with 13 minutes to go whilst
registering components. I have re tried installing XP but

I tried to activate XP the first time and it wouldn't accept my
Product key.  I called the number on the screen and they gave me a new
one.  XP wouldn't accept that one either.  I do have a legal disk.
They told me to reinstall, so I did and it accepted my original key

my puter won't complete the sp2 install, i get the
message "access denied" and it begins to uninstall. i
have all updates and have upgraded the Bios as well as
checked for spyware. Can't figure it out!

Hi all, after I downloaded and Installed the XP SP2, my
entire computer setting was out of whack, I no longer can
see the taps showing which program I have running.
But the biggest problem I have is my printer is no long

Installed SP2 today and as it rebooted I noticed things were looking dodgy.
First it displayed the boot screen very small in the middle of the screen,
after a couple of minutes the new security centre stuff came up at proper
size in the middle of the screen but with nothing behind ...
