I need help fast please.  I had problems with the system and after doing
system restores through system restore it didn't seem to totally fix it.  I
did a repair install of XP Home Edition.  I am getting the ASMS error so
apparently it is not finding the CD drive.  I tried the ...

After booting off of the XP Home install CD, it begins
loading the necessary drivers, etc. so it can complete the
installation.  However, it stops after one driver and says

the backup utility from the CD.  I have also copied all files as a backup to
my desktop.  I want to be sure the registry is backed up before I start
