I have been hestitant in doing SP2 Update and last weekend I finally decided
to give it a try.  I backed up entire Laptop (twice) to a USB Hardrive and
made sure all drivers, etc were all up to date.  I deleted all temp files,

I purchased a computer and then tried to update the Service Pack and found
out the version of XP Pro on the computer was pirated.  I went and purchased
a new copy and installed it on the computer.  Now the new XP Pro does not see

section.  It is called 'Internet Gateway' and has some settings similar
to those found inside external routers.

I am running Windows XP Professional. During start up I
get a blue screen that reads \systemroot\windows system 32
\autocheck.exe program not found skipping auto check. The
OS then seems to start normally.

because of an emergency needed the phone line. today,
windows update shows it as being failed in history and
when i try to install again, it says it is already
