Starting with basically new machine except for 3 mo old
120GB Seagate & DVD player/CD burner.  HDD is fresh
format. I have 2 copies of XP Home - one OEM from dead
machine & one Retail. Same results with both.  "Setup

I have recently installed a new motherboard and cpu from
P3 550 to a 1.0ghz.  For some reason the computer won't
boot up to windows.  Trying to load in normall mode goes
back to that screen I've tryed safe mode won't start

Hi!!
I cururently have an HP Pavilion PC that came with Windows XP Preloaded, but
did not include any XP disks.  In the near future I am planning on building a
new AMD-based PC.  My question is, do I need to buy a whole new Windows XP
screen is smaller after installing SP209 Oct 2004 11:10 GMT1
I have installed the SP2 upgrade and now there is a black half inch band on
the right side of the screen. I have looked into "display" but don't know how
to slove this.

Friend bought notebook in Hungary.  Hungarian Windows XP
Pro intalled.  Bought new Windows XP Pro and installed.  
How do we get rid of the Hungarian version?  Think that it
is interfering with password for BT Broadband.

deployment tools onto my HD. Says you can double click on setupmgr.exe to

i ran the upgrade advisor on my system and found
MS DTC to be incompatible with windows xp.
