I just installed XP Professional on a machine that has two
AMD Athlon processors.  Does XP automatically configure to
use both processors or do I have to manually configure XP
to use both processors.  Both processors showup in device

Setup aborts during installation saying "setup cannot
find windows version to upgrade."  I have rebooted and
tried reinstalling several times.

I have upgraded 2 pc's, one with XP Home and the other with Pro.   Both were
retail uprgades and have SP2.  I'd like to swap the installs though so the Xp
Home pc runs XP Pro.  
Can I do this and re-activate the OS? I know the pc with Pro will need a

After updating WinXP on my laptop I have numerous extra
directories (eg. xf349gghiwseeeedg45) which contain a
subfolder referencing SP2 with a single file in each. Are
these "temp" folders and can I safely delete or move
