I use Group Policy to prevent changes to the wallpaper in Windows XP,
however the Picture and Fax viewer still allows this view the context menu.
Is there a way I can disable this feature or disable Picture and Fax Viewer
completely - and if I disable it,will it affect any desktop ...

I recently reinstalled WinXP on my Dell Laptop because my
laptop was not booting and I did not have the admin
password to repair the existing XP installation. Now I
have two WIN XP installations on the laptop. How ever,

I installed sp2 from CD and all seemed ok, restarted but afterwards when I
open 'My computer' I just get the searching torch icon.
I also lost access to my printer which will not even reinstall. Can not see
how\if the sp2 firewall is blocking printer.

I have a problem with XP Home SP2 on a machine. No
restore point made prior to loading, (not my machine I

Since installing SP2 my search companion doesn't work. I

KB 884130 lists MS Virtual PC 2004 as one of the applications that may have
problems with XPSP2 virtual OS's.  The article briefly mentions that the
problem may be performance related when using a host OS that is XPSP1.  I
cannot find any additional information about this issue.
