I get an error message when ever I try to install a
program. We ran McAfee and it did not find a virus. The
error message is as follows:

When I was first offered SP2 by Windows update, I accepted and it installed
fine so far as I could see, by the re-boot afterwards failed on the splash
screen with the ble moving bar. It stopped after I think 5 runs of the bar.
After a clean install I tried again and it still ...

Installed SP2 on a brand new computer and lost my wireless connection.  I

I have a program that requires the files cscmd32.ocx and cstext32.ocx. After
I have installed Windows XP SP2, it stopped working and gave me errors in

I recently completed the Windows XP install and when it got done copying
files it says it is going to reboot. So it does and when it gets the XP
loading screen it finishes and goes to setup is restarting your computer.
Then my computer pops up with a blue screen that says:

We've got a small network consisting of workstations from various vendors
and no DHCP server.
Is it possible to still perform a network install of Windows XP Pro by

ever since sp2 installation most folders on c drive will not do anything
when right click and select properties. folders on other drives/partitions
are fine. can't find any security setting that affects this. any ideas?

I have installed XP SP2 on all three of my computers. On all three,
the File Properites dialog fails to show up at all. It will for
individual files, but not Folders. It also show up for "My Computer".
Is anyone else having this problem?
