Im trying to fix  computer that has spontaneously generated a NTLDR error message.
Ive been into the recovery consolse and dont fixmbr and fixboot which havent worked
Ive copied NTLDR and ntdetect.com from te installation CD which didnt work
It will boot from the floppy created here ...

When I installed W2kp I had to install the modem driver separately - WXP did
it on its own. I have now given my old W2kp to a friend and he doesn't seem
to have a modem driver handy. Can he install W2kp and let the machine search
my XP-disc to find the driver if it isn't on the ...

months, but now as it is booting (dashes cycling across the bottom,

I am trying to install Windows XP on a freshly formatted hard drive.  I start
setup by booting my XP Pro CD.  It goes thru the RAID/SCSI and ASR Prompts,
and continues, until it gets to "Setup is starting Windows".  It hangs here,
