When I try to upgrade from Windows ME to Windows XP
Professional, I get a Blocking Issue message about
Software That Must Be Temporarily Removed, and it
indicates that the software is pcAnywhere 10.0.  I have

I have a pc whih is more than 2 years old. Windows XP home
comes with the system with the serial number only.
Now the system is not performing and I pusrchase a new
system. Unfortunately, moving the HD does not boot in the

I have recentely started to use a new computer (its a stronger machine than
the one i've been using so far).
after installing XP on it, I've noticed that although the resolution of the
image on the monitor is good, the image tends to shake a little.

After my hard drive failed i bought a new one and went to install xp all over
again.  I formatted the hard drive and went to install XP with SP2.  after
installing the neccessary files my computer rebooted like it should, but then

Does anyone have an idea as to why I can't get my XP to reinstall?? When it
tries to install, it gets to the EULA screen and then the keyboard locks up!

I am trying to install SP2 on an XP Home Edition computer. SP2 setup starts
but during inspection of current configuration I get the error 'Cannot verify
file update.inf.' I have tried two different SP2 CDs with same result. Any

I just reinstalled Win XP Home on a Maxstor 40GB IDE hard disk. This disk
was formatted 39GB FAT32 as a secondary disk before the reinstall. I deleted
all partitions and let WinXP Installer format it as NTFS in the setup. Now
it's only 30 GB!!! Where has the other 10GB gone, and how ...

Is it possible to install XP Professional on a pair of Dynamic Disks that
have been 'striped'.
If you can't install onto a previously defined pair of Dynamic Disks, is it
possible to convert the boot disk into a Dynamic Disk after installation, and
