I have the "missing system32/config/system file" problem, but when I tried
the fix listed in the KB it wouldnt work.
md wouldnt create a folder,
copy couldnt find the files to copy

I'm planning on clean installing Windows XP Home Edition my dad's PC.  He's
currently running an OEM version of Windows 95.  He also has the CD-ROM for
the same.  
While Microsoft says that the upgrade version of Windows XP Home does not

I am not able to open localhost web via Microsoft frontpage. It gives error

I have an old hard drive that I have reformatted in order to perform a clean
install of Windows XP Home Edition.  I am using a Windows 98 (2nd Edition)
floppy Startup Disk to boot the PC.  
When I try to run Setup from the Win XP CDROM, I get a message saying "Setup

I have loaded SP2 on my XPHome computer several weeks ago. Lately I cannot

last week it crashed so i reinstaled it and all drivers but now when i try to
instal surtan disks i get this (16 bit windows  subsystem)

I'm wondering if there is a way to, during setup, provide Windows setup with
my LAN device drivers from Intel ( they're not on the Windows setup disc ).  
Does anyone have any ideas?

I have a cd xp-pro I would like to make it bootable, actuelly I boot with

Hi - I have been reading with interest the effects of XP SP2 and the Default
User.
My Situation is this:
We have a W2k SOE loading the Deafult User Profile from the Netlogon/Sysvol
