Hi,
I'm using a third party product called Altiris Deployment Solution to
rollout an unattended version of Windows XP SP2.
The source CD is a Volume Licensed CD from Microsoft, with SP2
issues w/ GPO install of SP2 (not applying)24 Nov 2004 19:56 GMT4
This is a 2000/AD w/ XP client environment.
First off, I deployed SP1 a year ago w/ GPO and it went off w/o a hitch.  So
this is very frustrating.

I'm trying to perform an unattended upgrade from W2k to XP Pro.
Everything works fine except it does a fresh install instead of an upgrade.

fonts.  The usual going to control panel, "fonts", "file" and "install new
font" does not work, as the install option does not appear; it appears to be

After installing SP2, I've had a noticable decrease in the speed in which I
navigate the net.  I have Verizon DSL and they recommended turning off the
Firewall, which I tried but seemed to have no effect.  Streaming seems
