I have Win98 (full version) installed on my machine and my wife has just
ordered me XP Pro for X'mas.  But I was wondering if I what I really need was
an "upgrade" package rather than full-blown XP Pro? I haven't upgraded my OS
for a good few years now so I don't even know if XP ...

When installing xp I've always remembered windows creating a
folder under Program Files called Accessories. I reinstalled xp
on my formatted hard drive. I tried pinning Wordpad to the start
menu knowing wordpad is in Program Files/Accessories. Well

Is there any documentation out there that explains the procedure for
upgrading from Windows ME to Windows XP?  If someone can guide me to a URL
I'd appreciate it.
Windows Explorer SLOW and Crashes after SP201 Dec 2004 02:25 GMT2
 After installing SP2 Windows Explorer crashes EVERY time I try to do
anything at all!  It also takes FOREVER to load:  BEFORE SP2- 1 or 2
seconds, AFTER SP2 -  40-60 seconds.  After each crash, I must wait at least
another entire minute to reload Explorer.  This has killed my ...

delete it?
