Just upgraded to XP pro from 98 SE and can't add/remove Windows Components (with or without Windows XP CD). Error message is "setup library iis.dll" can't be found or can't be loaded. "The application could not be initialized". Any ideas? Thanks.

Can't get past GUI install if I move the mouse. System locks up. Freezes. Flashed BIOS from A06 to A11, no go. Able to install Win 98, Slackware no problem. Was running WinME before I tried to upgrade to XP. All internal devices unplugged except PCI video card. Ran memtest on

I'm having a problem with a RIPREP XPSP2 image. When I deploy the image to certain PCs I get the error message "Setup cannot copy the file: hccoin.dll...To retry, press Enter...To skip this file, press Esc..." during the file copy phase.

Hi, I have a Win 2003 RIS Server. I have successfull enabeled OEM-Driver in the CD-BASED / FLAT Image. Now I want to add the Networkdriver for the TextMode Part of the Setup / Installation process?

I put the original RAM back into the computer and still the computer errors with \windows\system32\config It goes onto say it that file is either missing or corrupt. Please hit 'r' to continue to fix.

I just upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP (I just bought the upgrade version of Windows XP in the box, SP2 included). Most things seem to work for the most part, but some things do not work: 1. When I go to the Windows Update site, I just see a blank white screen.

Had 20G HD with XP SP2, and just installed an 2nd HD of 160G as additional storage. Is there a mechanism whereby I can move not only data but also programs onto the new drive, without having to actually re-install the programs?
