Just upgraded to XP pro from 98 SE and can't add/remove Windows Components
(with or without Windows XP CD).  Error message is "setup library iis.dll"
can't be found or can't be loaded.  "The application could not be
initialized".  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Can't get past GUI install if I move the mouse. System locks up.
Freezes. Flashed BIOS from A06 to A11, no go. Able to install Win 98,

I'm having a problem with a RIPREP XPSP2 image. When I deploy the image to
certain PCs I get the error message "Setup cannot copy the file:
hccoin.dll...To retry, press Enter...To skip this file, press Esc..." during
the file copy phase.

I recently rermoved an old drive and replaced it with a new one.  I made what
was my main HDD, my new backup drive.  I didn't remove any files from this
drive when I made the switch just incase something went wrong and I needed to

I just upgraded from Windows ME to Windows XP (I just bought the upgrade
version of Windows XP in the box, SP2 included).  Most things seem to work
for the most part, but some things do not work:
1. When I go to the Windows Update site, I just see a blank white screen.

I lost Cursors for my pointer all gone file is empty were can I get them back.

I am running WinXP home and have all current updates including service pack
2.  My c drive is a FAT32 and has 15.5 GB total with 4.88GB available.  I

activating this copy, and continually regen the system by utilizing sysprep
-factory.  This allows me to audit the system for 30 days ...

Had 20G HD with XP SP2,
and just installed an 2nd HD of 160G as additional storage.
Is there a mechanism whereby I can move not only data but also programs onto
the new drive, without having to actually re-install the programs?
