new computer and I have loaded new software.  now when I reboot it hangs
after savings settings.  if is shut off and turn on it works..just not the

I have a problem trying to get on Internet Explorer. Whenever I double click
on IE, I end up getting some kind of error box?

I have XP on my system,its also the OS that came with the computer. Now
however the computer is i guess acting crapy. Programs get error messages
after they close saying they have to close b/c of an error,even though i

I just reinstalled a friends xp machine.  For some reason the VIA IDE
Bus Master Drivers will not install.  The pc is an ASUS A7V KT133, with

I am not very familiar with XP. Thanks to an MVP (Colin) I was able to do an
NTFS format and get a smooth installation that worked fine until installing
all of MS updates. I removed all of them and still am going quite slow

windows XP pro) I have inadvertently messed up my main user account
(admin status).
I can see under c:\documents and settings\ my original user account

I need a list of default processes - from the tasks manager. My computer has
a lot more processes running on it than it did, I'm hoping I can take the
