Hey all.. and thanks for the help. Basically, its like this. Im building an image for my company. Easy enough. Problem is the other machines seem to have differnt mass storage controllers and therefore BSOD at bootup.

If I wipe my hard drive clean and then install Windows XP Pro is it necessary to install service pack 1 before installing service pack 2? Thanks.

I am deploying Windows XP sp2 via RIS as a riprep image using a .sif file for the answers and when it nearly compleates - it says "setup was unable to change the password for user account administrator please reenter the re enter the password again"

I would really appreciate if somebody could help me. I built the system with two SATA HDD (CPU Intel 3,2; MB ASUS P5AD2). While powering the system for the first time, BIOS showed only one HDD. I was (and am) not sure whether it was OK but started installing Win MCE.

I upgraded to XP Pro 64 using CD received from Microsoft. Apparently the trial time expired, and now my system will only boot into safe mode. I called Microsoft and they said that I need to reformat my hard disk. Is there a workaround? Can I uninstall Pro 64 from safe mode?
