Basically, its like this. Im building an image for my company. Easy
enough. Problem is the other machines seem to have differnt mass
storage controllers and therefore BSOD at bootup.

If I wipe my hard drive clean and then install Windows XP Pro is it necessary
to install service pack 1 before installing service pack 2?

I built the system with two SATA HDD (CPU Intel 3,2; MB ASUS P5AD2).
While powering the system for the first time, BIOS showed only one HDD. I
was (and am) not sure whether it was OK but started installing Win MCE.

I upgraded to XP Pro 64 using CD received from Microsoft.  Apparently the
trial time expired, and now my system will only boot into safe mode.  I
called Microsoft and they said that I need to reformat my hard disk.  Is
there a workaround?  Can I uninstall Pro 64 from safe mode?
