I am trying to do a clean install on of win xp home and I am having some
serious problems. I have had this happen before on xp pro and thought it was
the disk. Here's what happens:
I boot from the cd,

diamondmax 9 harddrive.  I recieved to different error messages during the
set up process.  Error code 4 and Error code 7.  Please assist as this is the

ok, I've setup RIS with an image of windows XP.  I've athenticated the RIS
server.  When I boot up my computer it gets an IP and says press f12 for the
network boot, i press f12, and the computer then just boots up normally?
What am I missing here?
