I've been battling sysprep for a while, off and on.  I've finally got
most of my machines, GX260, GX270, 600m, minitower 280 working.  I'm

I am trying to do a clean install on of win xp home and I am having some
serious problems. I have had this happen before on xp pro and thought it was
the disk. Here's what happens:

I am trying to do a clean install of Windows XP Home Edt on a new 80g maxtor
diamondmax 9 harddrive.  I recieved to different error messages during the
set up process.  Error code 4 and Error code 7.  Please assist as this is the
first install I have tried to do myself.

I have QDI mainboard with Celeron 1100MHz, ATI vga, 3com NIC and 256MB Ram
and Toshiba CDRom.
The thing is that when I try to install the windows XP on the very new hard

ok, I've setup RIS with an image of windows XP.  I've athenticated the RIS
server.  When I boot up my computer it gets an IP and says press f12 for the
network boot, i press f12, and the computer then just boots up normally?
