I'm trying to use the Files and Transfer Wizard to transfer from a Win2000 PC. Both PC's are connected to a LinkSys router. When I run the wizard on the Win2000 PC, the Home or Small Office selection is grayed out and can't be selected.

there once was a time when somebody could set up part of their PC memory for a RAMdisk to be used like a disk drive. does anybody do this anymore ? or can this Not be set up anymore ?

Do I have to buy a seperate copy of Windows Xp for each computer I own? I loaded it on my laptop and on 2 of my computers at home. They all require activation, but I activated one and know I can't activate the others. You got to be kidding if I have to spend over $100 a piece ...

Just wondered does an upgrade version of XP need to be activated, as I have just installed an upgrade version of XP Pro from Windows 2000 & it doesn't seem to have the activation notice popping up & there isn't anywhere to activate it in the Start menu, NOT that I'm complaining ...

Just built a new system 2 weeks ago/switched to XP SP2 Home from 98. Standby worked fine. (Depress On/Off button on chassis to go into standby, hit any key/mouse movement to bring the system out. No problem.) Then suddenly a few days ago the monitor stopped cooperating.
