get this message when running Windows Installer (InstallShield wizard).  
Even when updating..It says .."an error has occurred while running setup.
Please make sure you have finished any previous setups and closed other
applications..."

OEMDuplicatorstring value (in sysprep.inf).

So I am going to purchase a Windows XP Pro upgrade.  I will upgrade my
Windows 98 desktop PC to Windows XP Pro.  I have run the Upgrade Advisor and
the Hardware is all OK.  I plan to run the Windows 98 recovery CD that came

We're using RIS to deploy our new desktops.  This works well for both CD
(flat) images and for risprep images (with apps)  We also build risprep
images for our laptops but they do not show up in the PXE menu ..., only the
CD image(s). Is this a know limitation of PXE on laptops ...
